Describe your most unforgettable wildlife encounter?
“Getting mock-charged by a large elephant bull in Mana Pools while on a walking safari. After the charge he stood still - we did too. That moment of silence before he shook his head and turned away was unforgettable. Truly humbling.”
What is your top tip for getting under the skin of your clients?
“Sending them real-time updates from the field when I am on a recce.”
Where is your favourite place to watch the sunset?
“So many, but sunsets along the Zambezi River are simply magical.”
“Despite my three decades of experience in travelling across Africa, I only made this my full-time occupation a few years ago. Over the past 10 years, I started several businesses from spirits e-commerce to an on-the-ground tourism business in Zimbabwe and worked for a leading bank in London as well as a strategy consulting firm in their Zurich offices. I’m now using my experience and network to build a new-age travel company that sends guests to places of natural beauty and educates them about the most pressing issues these habitats are facing.”
